Why a box for trinkets? Because the Collector’s Edition also includes a sizable, hand painted, Polystone figure of Geralt mid battle with a Griffin.

Not only will you get all content found within the standard edition, but also a physical rendition of Geralt’s Witcher medallion, fancy pants steel book game case, a two-hundred page art book, and a massive Witcher box to keep it all in. Hardcore The Witcher fans with some money to burn might want to look into the Collector’s Edition instead. Physical “standard” editions of The Witcher III: Wild Hunt will ship with a copy of the game (Bluray for consoles, DVD for PC), audio CD to show off the soundtrack, “Witcher Universe – The Compendium” guide to help better understand Geralt’s world, a fancy game world map, and a bundle of Witcher themed stickers, all contained within a tasty protective case sleeve. Publisher/developer combo CD Projekt has, in the past, proven to be quite generous when it comes to physical packages for their flashy new games, and Wild Hunt is no different, coming in two flavours: Standard and Collector’s Edition. Sequel to The Witcher and The Witcher II: Assassins of Kings, Wild Hunt continues Geralt’s arc of monster slaying, lady wooing, and medieval fantasy political mumbo jumbo to what could be a no doubt gripping, multifaceted conclusion. You’ll be hard pressed to find anybody who doesn’t think The Witcher III: Wild Hunt looks super rad.
